This next auction item is a Ruger-made Marlin SBL Series Model 336™. Ruger’s records reflect this rifle was roll marked on August 15, 2023. It was a Sales & Marketing photography sample, it was never sold, and has not been fired beyond normal factory test firing. This Model 336™ lever-action rifle was launched in January 2024. Chambered in .30-30 Winchester, this rifle features a 19.1″ cold hammer-forged barrel with a 1:11 twist. The threaded barrel (5/8″- 24), comes with a match-polished thread protector and will accommodate common muzzle devices. This SBL Series Model 336™ sports a handsome gray laminate stock with crisp checkering to help maintain a good grip in virtually all-weather conditions. The rifle also utilizes a fiber optic front sight with a tritium ring for improved visibility in low light and an adjustable ghost ring rear sight. The Picatinny rail provides a stable mounting surface for scope rings and a variety of modern optics. The steel receiver, big loop lever, and trigger guard plate feature a polished stainless finish. The spiral fluted, polished bolt aids smooth cycling and durability, and the tubular magazine holds 6 rounds. The rifle will ship in its original rifle box along with the original instruction manual and marketing materials, hammer spur, and locking device. The rifle is being sold “as is.” The purchaser assumes all liability for its safe and proper ownership, storage, use, and resale. It is a part of the Ruger factory collection in Southport, Connecticut and a Certificate of Authenticity will be mailed to the winner of the auction.
