Meet Abby Jackley, the Foundation’s new intern!
Starting off the new year with an addition to the marketing department, we welcome intern, Abby Jackley! Abby is studying marketing at Gateway Technical College. She will be working remotely in southeast Wisconsin and learning new skills from our Marketing Manager, Dani Farris, and Zach Abbott, our Marketing Specialist. Abby is a competitive shooter for team Ruger and has been a Scholastic Action Shooting Program (SASP) athlete since she was in middle school. She has gone on to become the 2023 SASP Rimfire Revolver National Champion along with many other shooting accomplishments. Abby has been a published writer for Junior Shooters Magazine since 2021 and in the past years managed their Instagram account as well. Abby recently presented on personal branding and social media content at our National Youth Shooting Sports Conference in October. Abby has a strong following on both Instagram and Facebook, sharing her love for the shooting and outdoor industry.
“MidwayUSA Foundation has made such an impact on the youth shooting community and has not only helped teams build funding but has also made an impact on so many young athletes including myself. Without the shooing community I would not be the person I am today, and I would not have received the opportunities to grow and give back to the community myself through various platforms.” – Abby Jackley, Marketing Intern
Abby will work with our marketing team to expand our social media and create new connections with the athletes we support. She will also contribute to our blogs and other forms of writing, including articles for Junior Shooters Magazine. Abby will travel to this year’s SHOT Show and be joining us at our annual MidwayUSA Foundation reception.
