June donations to youth shooting teams have been matched! We are very excited to announce that the match ratio was $0.72 per dollar. This match benefits 243 youth shooting teams. Shooting teams in our program that received a donation in June benefited from these matching funds. This means that if your shooting team received a $50 donation, our Matching Program added an additional $36.00, which amounts to an $86.00 contribution to your team’s endowment. Participating in the Matching Program is one of the fastest and easiest ways to grow your team endowment. Thanks to Larry and Brenda Potterfield every donation is matched! They fund our entire Matching Program and cover the Foundation’s operating expenses. So, 100% of every donation benefits the shooting team of the donor’s choice.
Remember recurring gifts receive matching dollars too, and right now would be the perfect time to start a recurring gift for your favorite shooting team. The Online Recurring Donation Drive is underway and teams participating will have a chance to win additional endowment funds! Giving a recurring donation is just as easy as giving an online donation. Both types of contributions use the general donation form on our website, but the key difference for a recurring gift is that you select the box labeled, ‘make this a recurring gift’ on the donation form. The drive ends in August, so get a recurring gift started today!
