We are happy to announce the winners of this year’s Hometown Challenge Sweepstakes! This was our most successful Hometown Challenge, raising more money for youth shooting sports than in previous years. Nearly 500 youth shooting teams received an endowment donation in September, which we matched! Those donations totaled $596,626.59! After our 1:1 match, that’s over one million dollars for youth shooting teams in just one month! In addition, youth shooting sports organizations also received donations to support their mission. In total, $639,810.59 was donated to make our Hometown Challenge a huge success!
Along with matching dollars, we provided $80,000 in endowment incentive dollars to participating teams. The top 5 teams earned generous endowment dollar prizes, and we drew another thirty (30) teams to win $1,000 each. Congratulations to Peoria Skeet and Trap Youth from Illinois for their first-place victory! This team received $104,218.74 in donations, and we awarded this team another $15,000! Additional winning teams were from a variety of states.
