We are very excited to announce that we are participating in Giving Tuesday, which is TODAY, November 29th! Giving Tuesday is a holiday powered by social media and encourages the public to support nonprofits and other charitable organizations. This global day of giving follows the much anticipated annual shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This year will be the sixth year that MidwayUSA Foundation participates in Giving Tuesday, and for today, we have a goal of raising $200,000 for youth shooting sports! To help us achieve our goal, we have $200,000 to match donations to youth shooting teams and organizations. For a gift to qualify for this special match, the contribution must be made online on November 29, 2022.
We will also offer team awards for participating youth shooting teams with a MidwayUSA Foundation Team Endowment. Top teams will be awarded, with 1st place receiving $5,000, 2nd winning $4,000, 3rd receiving $3,000, 4th receiving $2,000, and 5th place receiving $1,000. We will also be conducting a random draw, where all participating teams have a chance to win an additional $500 towards their endowment.
